Zoho Show is the system we use to do our online presentations. The following is a step by step tutorial on how to get this done.

The first thing you want to do is get to Zoho Show by typing in, without the ‘www’, http://show.zoho.com.

You’ll see a sign on page, where you can sign in with your Google or Yahoo account, after which, if this is your first time, it will prompt you to create a user name for the service.

Once you’ve successfully signed on, notify your support team and one of us will get the Presentation to you. After the presentation has been shared to you, you simply sign on to your Zoho Show account, and go to the “Shared Presentations” Group, from where you will select “Shared to Me”.

Once there, you will see the presentation and click on the name of it, (not on the part that says “Slideshow”)

Once you’re in the “Editing Mode”, you need to make the presentation “Writeable” so click on the “More” button and select “Duplicate Presentation”. At this point, you will be prompted to name the file, just keep the same name and let’s go on to the next step.

The top bar now has a bunch of new buttons available and what you need to do is to select the “Remote” button and then select, “Make Remote”. Once this step is completed a Dialog box appears allowing you to invite someone via email to look at your presentation.

Put in one or two email addresses (if you want more you have to buy the premium service) and click on send. You will notice that you now will move to the “Invited List” Tab across the top of the box. Select the “Remote” tab to get back to the other side and click on the “Start” Button. As a side note, we recommend doing these presentations strictly on a one on one basis, unless you’re training someone you’ve recruited on utilizing the system. Otherwise you tend to diminish the “Energy” aspect that I talk about on a previous post.

Once here, you simply click on Start Remote Link, and wait for your prospect to show up on the “Participants List”. Along the top, you’ll see a button that says “Show Notes”. Make sure you click on that so you know what to say. There’s a line right above the text, drag that line up, until you can comfortably read the text. Your prospect can’t see these notes, the only thing they see is the presentation in full screen. Simply read the notes, then click on the “next” button on the top left. Once you finish your prospect WILL sign up, so make sure you’re ready with the Online Membership Application ready to go.
